HAUNTED & HAPPENING | Halloween in London

Get pissed at jack the ripper’s old local, monster mash your heart out with goldie, watch donnie darko with a live choir, or hit up a seance! Halloween in London is yours for the taking!

Mega talented and extremely atmospheric London choir Some Voices are set to serenade and scare this weekend. Singing you through the excellently eerie cult film Donnie Darko and it’s spine tingling, 80’s Synthtastic, shiver-inducing soundtrack.
Dress to impress in your best Halloween costume, dive into the party punch then dance it all off at the after show disco.

Extremely popular, tickets to Some Voice’s events always sell-out quick! So dig out that creepy rabbit mask you’ve still not worn and start booking!

Grab your masks and broomsticks, and monster mash your heart out! It’s Halloween all weekend long at the Nest in Dalston. DJ’s Fake Blood host a Halloween spook-tacular on the Friday night rife with creepy cocktails, jack-o-lanterns, and rising star’s on the decks.

Then creep back Saturday night as Metalheadz front man, and Drum & Bass DJ Goldie invites the creatures of the night to drop it like it’s hot at a special one-off hip-hop set!

Don’t be fooled by this Spitalfields pub’s cozy interior, or giant glittery disco ball. The Ten Bells dark and ghostly past is what it’s most famous for!

Notoriously haunted, the Ten Bells was not only the former local of Jack the Ripper but also a favourite drinking spot for two of his victims!! Prostitutes Annie Chapman and his last and most vicious murder of all Mary Kelly, whose body was found only mere metres away outside.

Drink a Rippers Tipple at the bar, or check out the news clippings and memorabilia covering the walls in the frighteningly grim toilets downstairs! Maybe even catch a ghost or two?! As numerous sightings and rumours have it that an old man haunts the hallways at night, laughing and sitting on bed’s in the staff quarters upstairs!

If you ask me…best stay at the bar!

It’s the Glory’s first ever Halloween Party, and no expense has been spared! Gothic drapes have been hung, a spectacle of entertainment is in place and they’ll be a shitload of shots and goulish she-nanigans to go around all night long!

Doors creak open early with a 7pm showing of “Carry on Screaming” followed by the unholy trinity that is Glory owner JONNY WOO, JOHN SIZZLE & MA BUTCHER who will host a supernatural soiree and perform some tricks and treats from their repertoire. Dj’s til late.

The super cool kids at Brick Lane gallery, Beach London have summoned up the spirits for their Halloween themed exhibition Ouija.

Open ’til the end of the month, Ouija features the work and reimagined versions of a select group of famous popular contemporary artists and illustrators such as Oliver Hibbert, Crispin Finn, Rob Flowers and more. All of which were invited to design a limited collection of Ouija boards especially for Beach.

Each artist’s board will be used to host it’s very own Seance throughout the exhibition, So be sure to head down and see who’s board has the spookiest results!

Basic Witches Better Beware…Straight Nasty is Back and their ready (and I quote) “to R.I.P you a new one”. Sweat your sass off in the hot as hell basement of Vogue Fabrics this Halloween to a feast of unapologetic pop bangerz. With a special live performance from The Sanderson Sisters, fancy dress prizes and more!

Prepare to enter the ultimate house of horrors! Witness some of the best UK skateboarders battle it out in the bowl in the afternoon and then head back and scare the shit out of yourself later! Terrifying visuals electrify the vaults and creep around every corner whilst neck-pulsing guitar riffs and guttural wrenching vocals come from Hang The Bastard and Gothenburg’s finest metallers, followed by blood-pumping, grimy bass and jungle til 3am!

Former Highgate resident Siwan became interested in the ghoulish reputation of the local pubs in the area after volunteering at London’s very famously haunted Highgate Cemetery. Join her, the ghosts and the goblins for a late night walk on Hampstead Heath and some pints in the pub. Visiting all the boozy haunted hangouts and listening to historical tales of crime, scandal murder and general fowlness from the neighbourhood’s past.

Dust off that zombie outfit and get ready for a monstrous, party in Peckham’s glorious multi-story Bussey Building. Dance from dusk til dawn to the “Righteous sounds from some of the best DJ’s around” Including sexy House, Soul, Disco & Eclectic Funk served up loud and bassy from special guests the crew at Bump & Hustle! Laid out over 2 floors, running well into the bewitching hour.

Go heavy on that glitter, glamour ghosts! London’s cult dj’s, performers, superstar drag queens and club kids are burning the floor this Hallow’s eve. Throwing another legendary Sink the Pink party more fabulously gruesome than ever before!
