The Clinic: A new play by Patrick Cash

sex, chems, apps, hiv & above all… love. writer patrick cash take us on a trip through Gay London; in his new play ‘the Clinic’

Two boys go on a date through Grindr. Ash (Zachariah Fletcher) is trying to use less chems for sex, whereas Elliot (Damien Killeen) has recently been diagnosed HIV positive. But they’re making each other smile, until they’re about to kiss…

When the date goes wrong, their paths spiral through gay London, in a contemporary love story with plenty of twists, raw sentimentality, courage, modern home truths, and overcoming inner demons. Featuring  DJ, producer and QX writer Stewart Who? as the boys sexual health advisor. A remarkable trans woman who runs the beauty clinic in Vauxhall played by the very Pretty Miss Cairo and the extremely talented and highly acclaimed actor Matthew Hodson.

‘The Clinic’ is sure to be the second notch in Patrick Cash’s repertoire of must see theatre.  Patrick’s faultless reworking of ‘Midsummer Nights Dream’ at Arcola Theatre earlier this year received plenty of a praise not to mention a sell-out run.

Now with unprecedented access to Soho’s sexual health clinic 56 Dean Street,  vast creative work, verbatim transcript, spoken word,  and an expert cast; The Clinic gives way to what Cash truly does best. Honest, quick witted, eloquent storytelling. Partnered with his influence and activism within the LGBT community, and the mere fact that he’s an absolutely lovely human being, Patrick Cash’s new work is one that simply can’t be missed !
