The UK’s most anarchic and star-studded car boot fair is back! Returning to Brick Lane this Sunday, with it’s ‘ Best Ever’ collection of Brit art yet!
The art world is letting it’s hair down and flipping the traditional British car boot fair upside down! Pitching up and selling limited edition, original, one-of-a-kind, and bargain priced works at Vauxhall’s Art Car Boot Fair, for one day only!
With many special ‘just-for-the-day’ artworks, typically on sale between £10 to £1,000 and regular attendees such as Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk and Sir Peter Blake … it’s no surprise that Vauxhall’s Art Car Boot Fair attracts a lengthy queue or early morning risers more than happy to wait an hour or two to get in the door! And this year looks to be the best on yet!

Beloved past artists return such as Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, Sir Peter Blake, Polly Morgan, Pam Hogg, and Bob & Roberta Smith, among many many others! As well as an exciting selection of fresh talent making their Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair debut. Such as Rachel Howard, Marc Quinns, Lisa Milroy, Dolores de Sade, Elli Popp, Ray Richardson, Holly Allan, Print Battles, Smithson Gallery and the Soho Art Society. All selling their work at authentically bargain prices!!!
But that’s not all! This year the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair has gone to the dogs! They’ll be lack nodding dogs, sleeping dogs, toy dogs, felt dogs, hotdogs and much much more!! With ‘dogs in boots’ theme and a myriad of canine influenced artworks amidst the fair! All good natured dogs are welcome to attend on leads and will have a one-off chance to be photographed with their owners in a car boot by artist Maria Teresa Gavazzi for a chance to win the ‘Best in Boot’ prize!
Plus! There will also be a Live Charity Auction of one off customised car bonnets by the likes of Jake Chapman, Bob and Roberta Smith, Rachel Howard and more and the launch of the Hepatitis C Trust’s ‘Art on a Postcard’ project. Featuring works by The Chapman Brothers, Rankin, Margot Bowman, Hayden Kays and Ray Richardson along with quirky entertainment from Richard Strange’s daylight cabaret.
